Developing Unbreakable Self-Discipline with Ed Mylett

Ed Mylett spoke about creating momentum and how he does it is by making the bed every morning, chugging water first thing when he wakes and laying out his clothes the night before.

People are not disciplined. They create structures to make them look disciplined.

He also talked about how people say he's still working so hard at his age but he says he isn't because he's created habits for those things.

If he doesn't work out one day, that's when he feels uneasy. Because he has made it a habit. It's no longer about whether he feels like working out. He's created a habit so he has to do it or he'll feel weird about it.

Waking up before 730 is still difficult for me because I haven't made it a habit.

I want to. That's the time the ideal me gave me.

Waking up at 730, washing my face, getting a meditation in, making my bed. Trainings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Slow and easy movements on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Walks on Sundays with love.

I've fallen off track. So very quickly. Getting on track from today. Next 90 days of greatness.

Do what your ideal self would do. Start living your ideal life and one day you'll magically wake up and be like, Damn... If this is not a beautiful life, I don't know what is.
